Will I receive compensation relating to the depreciation of my vehicle if I'm involved in a non-fault accident?

Each depreciation case is unique. Receiving compensation for the depreciation of a vehicle depends on certain variables such as the year of the vehicle, the mileage, and overall condition and the extent of the damage the vehicle has sustained.

If the independent engineer feels that depreciation applies to your vehicle, we will try to recover the depreciation amount from the at fault insurance company. As depreciation only applies to a vehicle which is generally younger, lower mileage, good condition etc, it is based on the opinion of the engineer which may then be disputed by the at fault insurance company. Please note that such a claim is not guaranteed, each case is settled on its own merits.
